Studio Coordinator

May I Have This Dance

Ballroom, Latin, and Swing Social Dancing Studio seeking a Studio Coordinator to perform general administrative support. The Studio Coordinator is responsible for all customer service aspects including greeting students and personnel in a friendly and sincere manner, answering all e-mail, phone calls, receiving and recording receipts for services, record keeping, filing, data collection and entry.

Daily upkeep of the office is also required; including light cleaning, organizing all promotional materials, maintaining inventory/ordering supplies, equipment troubleshooting and usage tracking and other miscellaneous tasks.

This position is 1-3 Sundays monthly, at least one Saturday a month at the beginning of a new session, occasional fill-in shifts on week night evenings, and the potential for additional shifts dependent on the applicant's interest/initiative. Evening hours are approximately 5pm - 10:30pm, Saturdays are 9:30am - 3pm, and Sunday hours are typically 1pm - 7pm. We are looking for a permanent part time addition to our team only, no applicants seeking seasonal or full time employment need apply.

Skills & Qualifications: 

This position requires the applicant to be personable and friendly with excellent customer service skills. He or she must be articulate, detail oriented, have proven organizational skills, and excellent follow through. The Studio Coordinator is the administrative staff responsible for running the studio during the evenings and weekends, so must be comfortable in a leadership and decision making role. All other duties as assigned.

Computer literacy is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, comfort with social media, web savvy, typing, and willingness to learn new programs.

Hourly compensation based on experience.
