Dzine Studio, Inc. seeks a Hyperrealism Painting Assistant for the artist Carlos Rolón
Responsibilities:
o Follow already existing procedures on painting production and Paint
o Work with existing team to prepare official projects and exhibitions
o Determine materials to be used and the specific quantity as it pertains to the current project
o Maintain studio inventory. Report which items need to be re-stocked to the Admin Manager before purchase.
o Determine fabrication schedule and timeline if working on specific projects with studio team and outside fabricators
o Communicate with Admin Manager about project needs, and keep the manager informed of progress on a daily basis
o Maintain detailed notes and images to keep with official project outline for future use and reference
o Ensure artist’s vision is actualized and properly executed.
o Delegate tasks to assigned studio assistants if needed.
o Ensure efficient use of time and labor.
o Facilitate maintenance of studio cleanliness and organization
o Assist with shipping and receiving of Artworks, running condition reports on artworks going in and out of the studio.
o General art handling including packing and unpacking of artwork to ensure integrity of work is preserved
o Perform research on materials, and techniques
o Be in charge of creating samples of proposed creative processes
o Document and take thorough notes of new processes for future reference
