General Auditions | Theater Unspeakable

Theater Unspeakable

Theater Unspeakable (TU) will be holding a general audition for its 2018-19 season. In the coming year, this physical theater company will be touring its pieces The American Revolution and Moon Shot as well as continuing to develop its newest piece based on the story of Sacagawea. The company is aiming to expand its base of actor/collaborators for this season’s projects and tours.

Skills & Qualifications:

TU is seeking performers who are:

  • comfortable with movement as well as text and music delivery

  • have the ability to portray multiple characters

  • enjoy the creation of new physical-based work

Actors of color are strongly encouraged to audition! We would love to involve more Native American collaborators to tell the story of Sacagawea.

Performers are asked to wear movement clothes and to be available for their entire two-hour time slot. The workshop will consist of physical games and exercises, creating original stories in groups and as individuals.

All contracted work with Theater Unspeakable is PAID.
All rehearsals will be DAYTIME on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
