Digital Marketing Intern- Fall | Lyric Opera of Chicago

Time commitment: 14-25 hrs/week

Compensation: Course credit available; $30 travel stipend per week


Brief description of duties:

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of website content
  • Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns in Prospect2 (Active Campaign)
  • Be a key part of Lyric’s move to a new website content management system, including redesigning of key pages, auditing content, and adding SEO components to new pages
  • Research newest website, email, and SEO trends
  • Work with Digital team to optimize SEO on website


Tools you’ll work with:

  • Sitecore and Episerver content management systems
  • Prospect2 (Active Campaign)
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Data Studio
  • Google Tag Manager


Required skills:

  • Interest in digital technology
  • Computer literacy
  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills


Preferred skills:

  • Interest in opera or the arts is preferred
  • Pursuing undergraduate studies in marketing, web development, or related fields
  • Experience working within CMS and email platforms
